Jammu, October 25, 2024: The Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board has started the process of ensuring that the designated examination centers for the much-awaited Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) constable recruitment examination. For the Home Department, the examination will be conducted on the basis of OMR, and the verification will be closely monitored by the Divisional Commissioner’s Office in Jammu.
This action comes as a result of an official communication (No. 301/Constable Examination/1824-25), dated 22 October 2024, which outlines the importance of ensuring that designated examination centers comply with all necessary standards have highlighted the smooth and transparent testing process . Research is needed to ensure that each site provides adequate services, safety measures and facilities to the number of test takers.
Committees comprising officials from various departments have been formed to look into the management of institutions proposed to be examination centers in their respective areas. These officers will determine whether facilities are adequately equipped to meet the requirements of the test, including seating arrangements, security, checkpoints, and other logistical considerations around.
JKSSB Constable Recruitment Examination is one of the most awaited recruitment examination in Jammu and Kashmir, attracting thousands of aspirants for positions under JKP.
